Dec 16	Dementia 101 presented by Teepa Snow Learn to: discriminate among the terms dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and forgetfulness, LBD, Vascular dementia, and FTD; describe symptoms that commonly occur with Alzheimer’s disease/ dementia based on brain damage; recognize behaviors that are indicative of dementia related conditions; use effective communication strategies when interacting with a person with dementia; and compare and select the appropriate type and amount of assistance to offer someone with dementia.
